What happens after seller dispatch
Domestic tracking shows the seller-to-warehouse journey. After arrival, the parcel must be matched to an order, recorded and prepared for warehouse review. A delivery scan does not always mean photographs and measurements will appear immediately.
Confirm that every expected order reaches the correct account record. If you used a forwarding workflow, accurate tracking and item information are especially important because they help the warehouse identify the parcel.
Read status as a workflow, not a promise
| Stage | What to do |
|---|---|
| Seller processing | Confirm variation and watch for delayed dispatch or seller messages. |
| Domestic transit | Keep the tracking number and compare unusual delays with carrier updates. |
| Warehouse intake | Allow time for matching, recording and standard inspection. |
| QC available | Compare photos, labels, quantity and measurements with the order. |
| Ready for parcel | Check restrictions, packaging and route eligibility before submission. |
Build a useful warehouse record
For every item, record the order identifier, seller link, variation, warehouse weight, visible measurements, QC decision and any unresolved concern. A structured record prevents similarly named products from being mixed up when several orders arrive over multiple days.
- Use exact item names rather than labels such as “black shirt.”
- Keep measurement units consistent.
- Mark whether packaging must be retained or may be removed.
- Record battery, liquid, magnetic or fragile attributes.
- Note return or exchange deadlines shown by the service.
Resolve problems before parcel submission
If the received variation is wrong, an item is visibly damaged or an important part is missing, collect the relevant order and QC evidence before contacting support. Describe one problem clearly and state the outcome you are requesting. Do not submit an affected item into an international parcel while its status is unresolved.
Plan the parcel from confirmed items
Only approved items should move into parcel planning. Grouping orders can reduce duplicated opening charges, but contents also affect dimensions, restrictions and protection requirements. Compare a compact scenario with a protective scenario rather than removing packaging automatically.
Use current warehouse measurements to evaluate routes. If a product restricts the entire parcel, compare the cost and practicality of separating it. Check the destination address and declaration requirements before payment because corrections become harder after dispatch.
